How long will my appointment take?

As a general rule for all new clients please allow up to 4 hours for a Cut & Colour service.

Can I come in for a consult first?

Yes! You can book in a consultation only, or add the additional time to your appointment if you would like the extra time to discuss a new look.

Do I need to confirm my booking?

Yes. As we work one on one we have reserved your appointment time out especially for you! This means if nobody shows up we will miss out on offering this time slot to another potential client and our small business will suffer financially!

An automated friendly reminder text will be sent out prior to your appointment. If appointments are unconfirmed within 48 hours of your appointment then we may forfeit your appointment time as we have a waiting list.

Do you have parking at your salon?

We have one reserved Freya Hairdressing parking space signed in front of the salon, alternatively you can park anywhere in the centre car park that is not reserved for another local business.

What brands do you use & stock?

We use Wella Professionals colour stock. Wella colour products offer consistent performance and reliable results. Dermatologically tested and without PPD pigments they less likely to cause skin sensitivity. Wella does no test their products on animals.

Aveda Haircare in used in the salon. Aveda offers hair & body products that are powered by plants, 100% vegan and cruelty free and smell divine.

K18 peptide treatments are available in salon & to take home, for hair that needs hard working strength support. All lightening services include a K18 treatment.

What payment methods do you except?

We accept Cash, EFTPOS, Visa & Mastercard

Can I get a quote before booking an appointment?

Absolutely. Please send us an email at hello@freyahairdressiing.com.au with details of the service you are after and we will be in touch with a quote.

Can I bring my child to my appointment?

Please be aware that while you are welcome to bring your child with you to your appointment the salon is a risky place for active babes! Scissors, mirrors, chemicals, you know the deal. With this in mind, we recommend coming along on your own so that you can relax and enjoy your time.

Can I bring my laptop and “work from home” in your salon?

Absolutely. We have power points available at each styling station and welcome busy workers to have their hair done whilst getting things done!

Can I bring my dog to your salon?

Always! If they are particularly rambunctious we ask that they be secured out on our deck.

Do you offer pensions or student discounts?

We do not offer pension or student discounts. As we work as one stylist with one client at a time we do not have the ability to offer discounts on our time.

What is your adjustment policy?

Freya Hairdressing offers adjustments within a 7 day period following your appointment if you have any concerns about the result of your service with us. The adjustments will be provided by the same stylist. Any adjustments requested beyond this 7 day period will be charged at full price.
